Shroom and Doom

Shroom and Doom is a quick yet endless arcade game, perfect to kill time.  

This was pretty much just a learning experience and, of course, the prototype definitely needs polishing, but I still want to share it 😊 

-You move around with the arrow keys
-D key harvests medium to big mushrooms, you can hold it or tap quickly to harvest them
-F key contains them for a fixed amount of time, this will freeze them and prevent them from growing bigger or from triggering a game over
-Enter key is to pause/resume the game

-Speed boost (Q)
-Haste boost (W)
-Clippers (E)
-Shroominator (R)

-Red mushroom: Low point value, easy to harvest
-Blue mushroom: Medium point value, harder to harvest
-Green mushroom: Harvesting it devolves neighboring mushrooms a stage back in their growth cycle, freezes mycelium walkers in place.
-Yellow mushroom: Harvesting it grants a random powerup
-Purple mushroom: Can only be harvested using clippers
-Mimic mushroom: Conceals its true identity and growth stage, its facade only drops once we walk near.
